Many thanks to the Great Lakes Music Camp for the amazing weekend of music and friendship on Lake Michigan! So grateful to have been awarded a youth scholarship to learn from amazing musicians and songwriters. I had an incredible time during the late-nite jam sessions and learning from the super talented Kenny Smith, who led the Rhythm Guitar workshop, mandolin virtuoso Don Julin for his Mandolin workshop and one of my favorite songwriters, the illustrious May Erlewine in her Songwriting workshop. It was a weekend of traditional music that gave me all the feels and I even got complementary strings and a fiddle tuner from Elderly Instruments! Special thanks to Jason Wheeler for making it all happen and I can't wait until next year for another incredible experience.
