“Monday Mourning” is a harrowing account of acts of gun violence with haunting ethereal musicality. Last summer Aspen recorded "Monday Mourning" in Nashville at OMNISound with producer Dominic Davis, Larissa Maestro on cello and Aspen on guitar and vocals. When Aspen made the plan to release it in June for Gun Violence awareness month, she didn't realize at the time that we would be experiencing a rash of shootings.
